About Built With Purpose

Most devotionals do one of two things well: they teach the text, or they stir the heart. Very few close the loop from Scripture to a specific thing you’ll do before dinner. That gap — between what we say we believe and what actually shapes our week — is the one Built With Purpose is trying to close.

The shape of a devotional

Every day you get three things, in this order:

Who it’s for

Men in the middle of it — jobs, marriages, kids, parents to bury, friends to check on, addictions to fight, projects to ship. Whether you’ve read the Bible cover-to-cover or you’re starting Genesis this week, the goal is the same: faith that shows up in your life on Tuesday afternoon.

The categories

We ask three questions at signup and assign you one to three categories — things like Marriage, Fatherhood, Purpose & Calling, or Overcoming Adversity. You can change them anytime. As we grow, more categories come online.

Honesty about how it’s made

Devotionals are drafted with AI assistance from Scripture reference libraries and category-specific prompts, then reviewed for theological soundness before they go live. Every reference is a real passage; nothing is invented. If you ever spot something off, tell us.

What it costs

Free during the MVP. If we add paid tiers later, the daily devotional for at least one category will always be free.
