Is Built With Purpose free?
Yes. During the MVP the full product is free. If we add paid tiers later, a daily devotional for at least one category will always remain free.
What translation do you use?
ESV by default. If we add translation preferences later, that will live in your settings.
Do you use AI to write these?
Devotionals are drafted with AI assistance from Scripture reference libraries and category-specific editorial prompts, then reviewed for theological soundness before they go live. Every reference is a real passage; nothing is invented.
How do you pick my categories?
We ask three questions at signup — life stage, current challenge, and what you want to grow in. Based on your answers, you get one to three categories. You can change them anytime.
Do you email me?
Not yet — email is on the near-term roadmap. For now, sign in and read the day’s devotional on the web.
What about my privacy?
We collect the minimum needed to sign you in and remember your categories. See the privacy page for the specifics.
Is this affiliated with a specific church or denomination?
No. The content is written from a historic-orthodox posture (Apostles’ and Nicene creeds), and we try to stay in the shared river most Christian traditions can drink from.
How do I delete my account?
Email support@builtwithpurpose.app from the address you signed up with and we’ll delete your account and all associated data within seven days.
